Our History
We first got started back in 2012 to what we thought would probably be a few friends watching some films and eating some popcorn.Wrong. Every single film sold out and had lines around the block.in fact, we even got a plaque presented to us from the city of San Diego! 7 years later we have become one of the largest and most respected surf film festivals around the world.This year we return with another incredible lineup of the best surf films, filmmaker q&as, special events and a whole lot more. See you all soon!
This event is steeped in surf cultured, which is surrounded by music, live art, food, drinks and screenings of films that convey the current pulse of surf cinema.
Many of the screenings will be followed by in-depth Q&As with filmmaker panels, and Wade Koniakowsky as a featured artist. May 9 - 12th!
